Dimension recognised Microsoft Mixed Reality Partner to drive digital transformation using MR technologies

Dimension has been approved as a Microsoft Mixed Reality Partner.

As one of the world’s most experienced practitioners of mixed reality, this formally recognises our strong competencies in designing, building, and deploying mixed reality solutions across enterprise and entertainment applications.

From fashion and retail to music and sport, as the Dimension team works to create increasingly ambitious and diverse applications, the Mixed Reality Partner Program (MRPP) will provide valuable services, tools, guidance and support. The program gives access to the insights of the MRPP community of companies creating the future of Mixed Reality, and connections to Microsoft product teams who help unlock the power of mixed reality and Azure cloud service.

Dimension launched in 2017 as the first Microsoft Mixed Reality Capture studio partner, creating advanced digital humans in its 106-camera volumetric studio, and have subsequently rolled-out 4 stages operating worldwide. Earlier this year, Dimension consolidated its service offering by integrating sister studio Hammerhead, virtual reality pioneers, under the Dimension brand, enabling clients to receive an end-to-end service of volumetric video, game-changing XR content, and virtual production. The team was one of the first to market with high-end cinematic VR experiences and innovative AR applications.

"Dimension has been a pioneering Microsoft Mixed Reality Capture Studio partner, leading to ground-breaking holographic and immersive experiences"

Leila Martine | Mixed Reality Product Marketing Director at Microsoft

“We are thrilled to have Dimension as an approved Microsoft Mixed Reality Partner. Since 2017, Dimension has been a pioneering Microsoft Mixed Reality Capture Studio partner, leading to ground-breaking holographic and immersive experiences – from making Madonna into holograms for the Billboard Music Awards, to creating immersive worlds for Sky’s Britannia and War of the Worlds. We look forward to expanding our partnership further with the Dimension team to cover HoloLens and Azure Mixed Reality Services, and can’t wait to see what they create next,” said Leila Martine, Mixed Reality Product Marketing Director at Microsoft.

“Microsoft has been a key partner through the growth of Dimension and a trailblazer in mixed reality and volumetric capture technologies. Building on the success of our Mixed Reality Capture Studio partnership, we are delighted to be collaborating more closely with the Mixed Reality team and other MRPP partners to drive forward exciting new use cases,” said Simon Windsor, Joint Managing Director at Dimension.
