Dimension’s Three 5G London Fashion Week Project Wins at Lovie Awards

We’re delighted to share that our project Three x Central Saint Martins x London Fashion Week  has been named a Winner for Best Use of Augmented Reality in the Apps, Mobile Sites & Voice Category at The 10th Annual Lovie Awards.

The ambitious execution, starring Adwoa Aboah, has been awarded both a Silver Lovie and the People’s Choice Lovie, based on votes from the public.

A huge congratulations to everyone who worked to bring the project to life, including immersive experience director Connie Harrison, PR agency Pretty Green, the team at Three UK, 8th Wall webAR.

The execution leveraged a combination of the latest volumetric capture technology and Three’s 5G network, to allow Adwoa Aboah, to enjoy a front row view of the latest collections at Central Saint Martins, while witnessing herself appear as a volumetric video down what appears to be an otherwise empty catwalk.

“Dimension has excelled in its category, showing fantastic prowess in digital innovation and creativity,” said Nicolas Roope, Executive Chair of IADAS and Creative Partner of POKE London. “This award is a testament to the skill, ingenuity, and vision of its creators.”

The seven word acceptance speech came from Lauren Dyer, Director of Strategic Partnership at Dimension: "Volumetric - the future of fashion. Thank you."

SkyVR’s Britannia VR: Out of Your Mind was also shortlisted for a Lovie Award in the Branded Virtual Reality Category.
