Current vacancies

We’re looking for talented Animators to join the team and participate in creating immersive experiences. You'll have the opportunity to work with some of the most advanced technologies in character creation - Mo-Cap data, 3D body-scans and industry defining 4D volumetric video capture – to produce world-class animation for our titles.


Working closely with the Lead Animator to realise the creative vision, strong communication skills will play to your advantage, as will a pro-active stance to identify and communicate issues and risks.

Responsibilities

  • Feedback on story boards.
  • Assembling animatic and early pre-viz.
  • Assisting with Mo-Cap, 3D and 4D volumetric shoots.
  • Providing feedback on Mo-Cap quality, rigs, and character rig improvements.
  • Post animating and keyframing animations.
  • Helping with assembling the experience in Unreal and Unity.
  • Meet strict production deadlines/goals and be capable of adapting your approach and strategies when necessary.
  • Liaise with key members of staff to help identify project workflows and potential resource requirements.

Technical requirements

  • Good working knowledge of Maya.
  • UE4 and Unity experience is beneficial.
  • Experience of Motion Builder is advantageous.
  • Meticulous working methodologies essential.

Skills requirements

  • Strong animation background.  
  • Exceptional eye for detail.
  • Exceptional communication skills, including morale, influence and motivation.
  • Self-motivated and open to learn new techniques and methods.
  • Passionate about creating virtual actors.

We have an exciting opportunity available for a junior tech artist to assist our existing post-production team. You’ll have the opportunity to develop your understanding of our post-production pipelines across all stages. Including being on set, learning bespoke software, and developing your skills in traditional vfx software.

Requirements

  • Relevant training qualification with a recognized Houdini.
  • An understanding of 3D pipelines and formats.
  • Great communication skills with a commitment to delivering excellent content.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Be able to work well within a team, to take instruction as well as feeling confident in coming up with new ideas.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of assignments tasked to you.

  • Solve tough technical problems with simple, efficient and creative code.

Responsibilities

  • Create user friendly tools that allow the art team to work efficiently and to a high quality.
  • Develop visual quality of the game; including the creation of shaders, creating technical mockups, and introducing innovative asset creation techniques.
  • Assist in the development of workflows to create an efficient art pipeline.
  • Assist other artists in the technical aspects of asset creation.

Requirements

  • You have experience with Unity and/or Unreal Engine 4.
  • You have experience with 3DSMax/Maya, Photoshop and Substance Designer.
  • You can write dynamic and animated shaders for games (visual node based or handwritten).
  • You have an understanding of the PBR pipeline.
  • You have experience making 3D assets for games (models, textures and materials).
  • You are highly self motivated and collaborative.
  • You are constantly striving to learn and improve your skills.
  • You can effectively communicate with artists, programmers and other team members.

Desirable

  • Basic Unreal blueprint or Unity scripting knowledge.
  • Experience building particle and animated effects in Unity and UE4.
  • Solid understanding of the math behind shaders and effects in 3D Games (trigonometry, arrays, vector math etc.).
  • Some scripting knowledge  – C#/C++.
  • Ability to write HLSL/GSL and Shaderlab.
  • Knowledge of photogrammetry pipelines.

We’re on the hunt for a mid-weight graphic designer to join a production studio shaping the future of entertainment. With innovation comes a diverse set of responsibilities – from one day to the next you can be working between a high-stakes pitch deck, a UI design for a virtual reality experience and promotion materials for Dimension’s activities at global film festivals.

You’ll use your design finesse and creativity to bring to life Dimension’s immersive experiences on the company website and social channels and develop the brand over time.

Joining as a mid-weight designer, you’ll work with the Head of Design, the marketing team and management, and often alongside our team of producers, animators and tech artists.

Essential skills:

  • Previous experience in an in-house design or agency environment
  • Stellar Adobe Creative skills
  • Some knowledge of Adobe XD
  • Experience in game, web or app UX/UI
  • Experience of Google applications, including Slides
  • A flair for typesetting and layout
  • Knowledge of print and digital production processes
  • Excellent time management, ability to work to deadlines
  • Attention to detail, even under pressure
  • Confident in your own ideas, with great communication skills
  • Be able to work well within a team, to take instruction as well as feel confident in coming up with new ideas
  • Some video editing skills and basic HTML/CSS knowledge also desirable
